If you're planning a visit, have a look at the booking calendar first. If there's a session showing there, that's the schedule to trust.
We run sauna sessions throughout the week from our site in Pollokshields, with morning, daytime and evening sessions depending on the day.
We’re also regularly trying different session times and formats to work out what people actually want to book. Because of that, the timetable can change from week to week. Our booking platform is always the best place to see the most up-to-date session times and live availability.
We’re always trying new session times
We don't want to decide the timetable once and assume we've got it right forever.
As more people use the sauna, we're learning when people actually want to come. We'll sometimes trial earlier mornings, different evening times, quieter sessions or other formats to see what works.
Some of those experiments will stick around. Others might disappear after a few weeks. If there's a particular time you'd regularly use that we don't currently offer, let us know. Member and customer feedback helps us decide what we try next.
Silent Sauna evenings
One of the formats we're currently trialling is Silent Sauna on selected evenings.
These sessions are for people who fancy a quieter visit. We're currently limiting them to 16 people across the big sauna and the horsebox, rather than filling both saunas to their normal combined capacity. That gives everyone a bit more room and keeps the sessions feeling calm.
As the name suggests, conversation inside the saunas is kept to a minimum. You can get warm, plunge, sit outside and have an hour where nobody expects you to make small talk.
We're trialling the format at the moment, so check the booking calendar to see when the next Silent Sauna is running.
Which sauna should you use?
We have two wood-fired saunas at our Pollokshields site: the big sauna and the horsebox.
Depending on the session, your booking may give you access to one sauna or the session may run across both. Some special sessions also have lower capacities or slightly different formats.
You'll find the details for each session when you book.
Do you need to book?
Yes, we'd recommend booking before travelling to the site.
Some sessions sell out, while others might not run at every point within our usual opening hours. The booking platform shows you exactly what's happening on the day, how many spaces are available and any information specific to that session.
If you're trying us for the first time, you don't need to know anything about sauna before you arrive. Bring a towel and water bottle, and our hosts can talk you through the rest.
