Membership FAQs

How do I book sessions once I’m a member?
Book through the website as normal, log in, then apply your membership code at checkout. Your voucher balance will reduce the total.

Do I need to create an account or log in?
Yes. Acuity uses your email address to recognise you. Use the same email address you used when you bought your membership. If you are prompted to log in, use the login link on the booking page or in your booking emails.

How do I book a session once I’v purchased a membership?
After you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email with what you need to book, including your membership code/credit details and a short step-by-step guide.

What does my membership actually give me each month?
Your membership balance covers a set number of sauna sessions. You can use your monthly voucher balance towards our regular sessions (weekday daytime, weekday evening, and weekend). Special classes and one-off events may be excluded or may require paying the difference.

Does it matter which sessions I book, since prices vary?
Not really. Your membership is set up to cover a set number of sessions each month. When you book, the membership balance is applied at checkout. Weekday sessions simply use less of that balance than weekend sessions because the prices are different, however they will all be £12 from Monday 2nd February.

Can I book any slot I want?
You can book any available slot that is open for booking at the time. Membership does not guarantee a specific time, so we recommend booking ahead.

Can I book the same time every week automatically?
Not currently. Our booking system does not support auto-booking a recurring weekly slot. If you want a regular time, the best approach is to book sessions in advance.

How far ahead can I book?
You can book up to the booking window shown in the system (typically around 30–40 days ahead). If you’re on a higher tier, it’s worth booking early so you get the times you want.

Can I book multiple sessions at once?
Yes, up to the system booking limit. If you have credits available, you can book ahead and use them across the month.

Does unused balance roll over to the next month?
No. Balance reset each month and do not roll over.

What happens if I don’t use all my credits that month?
Unused balance expires at the end of your billing cycle. We recommend choosing a tier you’ll realistically use.

Do membership credits reset at the end of each calendar month?
No. Membership sessions run on a rolling monthly cycle from the date you sign up, not the calendar month.

Can I share my membership with someone else or for a friend?
No. Memberships are for one person only. If you want to bring someone, they’ll need to book and pay as normal, or use their own voucher/membership.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes, up to 12 hours before your session. You can manage this via your booking confirmation email. If you cancel or reschedule within the allowed window, the credit returns to your account to use again that month.

If you cancel within 12 hours of the session, the credit may be lost. If something unexpected happens, message us and we’ll do our best to help, but we can’t promise exceptions.

Can I cancel/pause my membership?
Yes. Memberships are rolling monthly and can be cancelled any time. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period. Acuity does not always offer a true “pause” option. The usual approach is to cancel and re-join later, depending on availability. If you need help with this, email us.

Can I change tiers later?
Yes, but changes usually take effect from the next billing cycle. If you want to upgrade or downgrade, email us and we’ll sort it with you.

Who do I contact if something isn’t working?
Email us. If you can, include the email address on your account and a screenshot of what you’re seeing

What’s the off-peak membership exactly?
Off-peak is for daytime sessions only, on the days listed on the membership page. It’s designed for people who can come at quieter times and want the best value.

What is a Sauna Patron?
Sauna Patron is for people who want to support the project a bit further. It comes with session credits plus supporter perks like early access to merch and discounts, and occasional free merch when we’re able.

Gift vouchers FAQs

How do I buy a gift voucher?
Choose the voucher you want on the Gift Vouchers page, add it to your cart, and check out.

Do you post physical gift cards?
No. Gift vouchers are digital only.

Who gets the voucher email?
At checkout, enter your own email address if you want to forward it on or print it. If you enter the recipient’s email, it will go directly to them.

How do I use a gift voucher to book a session?
Book a session as normal through the Bookings page. During checkout you’ll be asked for your voucher code. Enter the code and it will reduce the cost.

Does the voucher work for weekday and weekend sessions?
Yes, unless the voucher page says otherwise. If a session costs more than the voucher value, you’ll just pay the difference.

How long are vouchers valid for?
Vouchers are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Can I use a voucher for Special Classes?
Usually yes, but it depends on how the class is priced. If it’s higher than the voucher value, you pay the difference. If the class is set up as “not redeemable” for vouchers, it will be clearly stated.

Can I use more than one voucher on a booking?
Typically, one code per booking. If you’ve got multiple vouchers, book separately or email us and we’ll help.

What if I lose my voucher code?
Email us with the name and email used at purchase and we can help track it down.

Can I get a refund on a voucher?
Vouchers are usually non-refundable, but if something has gone wrong, get in touch and we’ll take a look.
