Our little Glasgow Community Sauna flame guy.

Nestled in the back of the Bowling Green, Glasgow Community Sauna is a queer-led community project making the benefits of sauna and cold plunge affordable and accessible to everyone in a natural and cosy setting.

Our facilities

We have transformed an old horse box into a mobile community sauna.

Alongside it we’ve built:

  • Plunge barrels (filtered, clean, and cold)

  • Accessible changing facilities

  • Outdoor shower to rinse off

  • A cosy fire space and relaxation area.

We’re more than just a sauna. Working in partnership with Bowling Green Together, we want to enhance the space by welcoming more people to the Bowling Green, especially during the colder months.

Our Build So Far

  1. We’ve renovated an old horse box into a bespoke seven seat mobile sauna

  2. We have transformed a neglected corner of the Bowling Green into a lush, urban oasis

  3. We’re now building sauna #2 - which will be the UK’s first accessible mobile sauna!
